“Vikings have always been portrayed as very heinous people and I love (Michael Hirst’s) approach on it. It made them family people and really gave them reasons as to why they do what they do. I wanted to be a part of something that sort of proves the myth wrong and proves their reputation wrong.”
I watched “Shame” today. I never thought a sex scene could be so painful/awful/terrible. It’s touched my soul, I don’t know why. It’s like a raw image of our society, I guess. But… damn, it was a hell, really. It is a distressing film. But at the same time I was a marvelous film about the human soul, the human fears, the human nightmares.
By the way… Michael Fassbender it’s so fucking handsome that I just, ugh, I can’t stand it. I’d never seen one of his films before! Why? Oh, god, why? He has something fascinating even though I don’t know exactly what.
